My Mom told me mine has...I'm not surprised she said so. Doesn't bother me though. I knew it was bound to happen.
Don't sweat it. Some people just don't have manners. It is definitely one thing for someone's Mom to say something...but a coworker is a whole other story!!
Wow, that wasn't very nice!!! No one has said anything rude to me yet but I try to cut them off at the pass and comment on my own thunder thighs before they get to it.

I haven't gotten any rude comments (so far!), but I'm not enjoying comments about my body in general. I recently had a coworker say to me, "You're coming along nicely", which kind of creeped me out. I feel like people are always staring at my stomach now too. I just don't enjoy the attention that comes along with pregnancy.

The other day my daughter told me I was getting fat. Doesn't really bother me cuz it's the truth lol. Some people just don't understand out hormones are not in their right place.

my Mom squeezed my love handle and said "Oh, you're gaining right here"...while it isnt the nicest thing to say I do agree with her and it doesn't bother me. We are open like that.
I got this one on two different occassions, from two different people...not sure it is rude, but the way they said it, they may have well said "you're getting fat all over!!"

I'd actually be happy if someone told me this! For years, I've labeled myself the 'Buttless Wonder'...seriously...no butt. In my famly you get one or the other: boobs or a butt...never both.

Sorry hit the enter button too many times but I meant to write I totally agree with ShandaB...throw the insult right back at them. I work with a bunch of men so I've had to put up with being called "fatty" and of course being told that my butt is growing as fast as my belly...but of course I always tell them at least I have a reason for gaining weight and ask what their reason is for having a bigger belly than mine.
A coworker thought she was being funny and called me a fat girl and commented on how face was rounder. I'm very small and I think she thought it was flattering to me to be called "fat girl."

sometimes I can't believe the things someone will say to a pregnant woman and think it's not an insult!
I did have someone yesterday go on and on about how cute my friend is, who is having a boy, talking about how "it's just all up front in your belly, like a basketball." then she turned to me and said "I bet you're having a girl huh? The boy mamas are so lucky." What does THAT mean? That I'm fat all over and look horrible? Thanks!
I would have asked the CW why he/she was checking out your butt in the first place.
My aunt told me my butt looked bigger when I was only 11-12w along! I was really upset b/c I hadn't told work or many people and didn't want my ass to be a giveaway. I think she was just pretending she saw something b/c my jeans still fit perfectly and even DH said she was crazy, and he is always brutally honest about my size/shape.
a sales lady at Nordstrom told me to turn all the way around.. then said "mmmhmmm sweetie you are having a girl because you are big everywhere" My friend's jaw hit the floor, I thought she was going to punch her. And she was wrong I'm having a boy, but thanks for calling me fat...

While shopping today, my Sweetheart was kind enough to tell me that my pajama pants were getting too tight. I said, "Thanks so much for pointing out that I'm geting so fat!" He quickly said, "No! Not fat - just poofier. You're *supposed* to! You're growing a baby!" Sigh. I do love him, though...
Someone I used to work with told me in front of a bunch of people that I'd gained weight . . . but I guess she thought that the "it looks good on you" part would make it sound nice.
My MIL and Cousin-in-law told me in front of the whole family that I'm "popping out everywhere" and then wanted to know how much weight I had gained since getting pregnant.
SINCE getting pregnant, I've gained 9 pounds (I'm 23 weeks), but that is NONE OF THEIR BUSINESS!!!

Here's one from a 7 year old student:
"Mrs. C you've gotten really fat!"
"I'm not fat. Remember when I told everyone I'm having a baby?"
"A baby what?!"
"Oookkkaayyy... time to finish sorting your spelling words!"
