Thrush or normal stuff? r/p from bfing

I have read on Kellymom the symptoms of thrush in mom, and though I seem to have some of them, how would I know what is normal vs not? My skin is veeeerrrry thin, so I have been cracked since pretty much day 1, but the pain has gotten much better. Still there though. And I am generally just uncomfy throughout the day.

DD doesn't appear to have any symptoms that I am aware of. 

Symptoms for mom/baby (from Kellymom)

• Unusually pink or red nipples.- Yes, but maybe not unusually
  
• Cracked or bleeding nipples- yes, they have improved though
  
• Itching or burning nipples- burning- ish
  
• A shooting pain deep within the breast- sometimes
  
• Pain that continues throughout a nursing session- sometimes, but I have been attributing it to latching issues (baby is lazy)
  
• White patches inside the baby?s mouth. (the inside of his cheeks is a ?thrive? zone and an easy to identify location)- no
  
• Yeast infections in other locations (diaper area, vaginal)- n

It sounds like she is not latching properly especially since it's not a new thing.  Could you see a lactation consultant?

I had this- AKA candida- and my nipples would be white after BF.  The pain was almost unbearable- it felt like glass scraping the inside of my breast.  The pain would linger 10 minutes after BF or pumping.  Sounds like you might just have "sore" nipples?  Maybe some Lansinoh cream and Soothies would help.
