It has begun..........=)

My daughter is 20 months old and tonight she went potty in her big girl potty!!!!!!! I am so excited!! For the past couple weeks she has been telling me ever time she potties and a few days ago she actually took off her poopy diaper and got poop all over her bead.That was a lot of fun lol. Thats when I decided maybe she was ready. So today we bought her a potty and every time I had to use the bathroom I would take her with me. She would just sit there and not do anything. Then right before bedtime I decided to see if she needed to go and sure enough she did it. I wasn't paying attention and all the sudden I herd music playing and looked down. She was so excited!!! We gave her a treat that she only gets if she uses the potty.
I am so proud of her. I know we still have a LONG ways to go but its just exciting to know that she is starting to understand. Kinda makes me a little sad cause she is gonna be my big girl. It would be great if she would actually learn how to use it all the time before Aleck gets here in June but I am not expecting that. Anyways I just had to share my good news with you ladies!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
