Does your DH use it ever? I've heard the Moby will fit a plus sized girl nice. DH is uber skinny and should work on him too but I doubt he'll ever wear it. LoL

I am a bit bigger - especially on top and I used a Moby. We have a backpack one too, but it just hurts my shoulders too much. While a Moby worked nicely in the beginning, I can't use it now with my super chunky babies. It's just too much weight.
My smaller DH used both a Moby and the backpack. The Moby was too complicated for him, but was his only option until they could hold their heads. The minute they could be in the backpack though he was all about that. HTH!
My wife is prego with twins and i worried about this...I am (was) a big girl myself ( just had a gastric bypass) but i was 330 and our cousin just gave us a MOBY wrap and there is tons of material we also have a ergo one and it went around me too ( i have since lost 65lbs) but still a broad broad. I say go with MOBY - maybe you can try it on in the store.
i know a lot of people do, but i never, have not once, used a carrier. i felt bad carrying one and not the other. i know that doesnt help much. but i thought id say before you buy two carriers you may want to try one before you buy two.
I use (and love) a moby- but we would have never bought it if our kids were bigger. I registered for & received 2 bjorns, but the minimum weight is 8 lbs. and min. length is 24". Our 2 month WB is Monday and I think DS is finally big enough; DD definitely isn't yet though!
I used the Baby K'tan and loved it! You purchase it based on your size, so it will fit properly. My DH is bigger than me, so our K'tan didn't fit him. We got a used Bjorn for him. I also have a Babyhawk that has ties to tie around. Its a one size fit all and is definitely large enough for a plus-size woman.
When they were newborns, I used a Maya wrap quite a bit. When they were about 4 months old with decent head control, we moved over to Ergos. We have a regular and a sport Ergo now. I'm a size 14-16, and I only have about 2" of slack in the waist belt on the traditional Ergo, HOWEVER I have about 8" of slack on the sport Ergo, as it comes with a longer waist strap for some reason. The fabric on the sport model is softer too, so it has become my favored Ergo.
I love my Ergo and use it several times a week, especially when at stores that don't have double carts. I'll have one ride in the cart and wear the other. I like that I can easily get it on and off without help too.
ETA: DH also uses the Ergos quite a bit. He likes that they're easy to get on and off, and unless you get it in pink, aren't feminine looking at all.

I used a Moby and an Ergo. DH wore both sometimes as well. We liked the Ergo better. (I think they do sell extenders if those are needed.)
ETA: The Moby works well for babies under about 15 lbs; once they get heavier than that it stretches too much. The Ergo is for babies 4 months and up, though you can get an Ergo insert if you want to use it earlier.
we used a k'tan and loved it. absolutely my favorite for the newborn stage. you would buy your size, so you might need to get a different once for DH (or a different carrier if he doesn't like wrap styles), but then you don't have to worry about adjusting the sizing to fit you.

We used an Ellaroo instead of o Moby, which we both liked a lot. Now that they're bigger, we use Ergos.
