So I outgrew my pp bras, bought a new cup size, wore that, and reached the end of my bra extender - feels awfully tight. I think I need a new bra. How many have ya'll been through? 

AND how long are you waiting until you get a nursing bra - should i go for it?

My cup size went up, but my issue is my rib cage.. that keeps increasing in size because of where the baby is positioned.  As for a nursing bra, you may want to wait until after baby to invest in a good one, for most women I know could not really predict what their size would be (was that way for me).

After 2 I gave up. Just bought some sports bras instead.

I just upgraded for the second time (first time I did around 12 weeks), though I needed to at least 2 weeks ago.  I was getting a lot of pain from underwire by the end of the day. I figured if I was going to be buying more bras they might as well be nurisng bras cause if they fit after delivery = bonus. I ordered two of these https://www.bravadodesigns.com/shop/the-original-nursing-bra-plus-style and got them yesterday. What a difference! It's like making the leap to maternity pants when you need to - comfort!  I am very tempted to order more for now, but am going to try and wait till after for sizing.

The people at the specialty bra store told me to come back two weeks before my due date for a nursing bra. Hopefully that helps.

I am waiting to get a nursing bra because with the way things have been going, I will need at least one size up by that time.

If you can find nursing bras that fit you now, I'd probably get one or 2 if you plan to BF for a while.

I ended up having to buy bras in decreasing sizes while I was nursing DS as my boobs shrank back down over the 15 or so months he BFed.

I need to go up a size, so I was going to order a nursing bra or two, so even if my boobs do get bigger, I will have a size down for when they start decreasing in size.

I ended up getting nursing bras from motherhood after a few of the ladies on here suggested them. The underwire was killing my ribs. These are heavenly and not too expensive!

I had to go to Nordstroms and buy an expensive bra because Motherhood didn't carry anything that would fit (36G).  The underwire on this thing feels like industrial cable and my rib cage feels bruised every morning when I put it on.  I HATE this thing, but it's still more comfortable than the one I had outgrew. 

They told me to come back 2 weeks before I was due to get a nursing bra because whatever I got now probably wouldn't fit then.  I need to look online for a sports bra that will fit (small band, big cup) if for nothing else than the weekend and giving my rib cage a break.

Yes! I bought underwire and it hurts so bad! I have to constantly pull it away from my body for a few seconds just to get a break.
