my MW is offering to donate her fee and her assistant's fee for a new client (who is eligible for homebirth with a birthing time in march) as part of a fundraiser for a local homebirth advocate recently diagnosed with breast cancer.

this is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wanted a homebirth, but maybe didn't come around to the idea in time to find a qualified MW with availability during her birthing time.
