Pottery Barn anywhere chair insert question

My sister is giving me a PB anywhere chair that's about 5 or 6 years old. The only thing is it's slouching really bad! She says it's just the cover (it's stretched out) and told me with a new cover it should hold up well... Do you think I should take it or just let her throw it out? Do the covers usually stretch out bad? Thanks!

I would take it. The chair itself is in pieces that you assemble into the slipcover, so likely it really is just the cover. You can buy a new one at the PBK website or even places like Etsy and Ebay from what I have been told. Just make sure you buy the proper sized slipcover. I think there's three sizes.

Our are nearly 3 years old (DD and DS1) and they slouch some. It's not the cover; its the insert.   I just bought brand new covers and they have been washed!  The difference between DD/DS1's and DS2's (2 months old) is astounding but yes they are used that much!   Their's are so soft and cuddly, well loved.  DS2 is stiff.   He has just started sitting in them.  I am sure your DD would love having one too...so I would take her up on it.  The slouchiness could give it extra cuddle factor! Not to mention save some $$.
