I don't get gender disappointment. I really, really don't. I understand a slight preference for one over the other, but if that lasts more than a second when you find out what you are having, I judge harshly.
Also, it's a 50-50 shot boy or girl. If you don't know that going into TTC, you're a moron.
Exactly! But she was going on and on about how she knows boy sperm are faster then girl sperm and if they BD'd the other day should that wait until tomorrow to give the girl sperm a chance to get to the egg or something. I dunno. The girl was dumb.

I personally would like a boy, but if God gives me a girl, I would be just as ecstatic. DH and I are not BDing thinking of a boy or a girl. We just want a healthy take home baby and that's that.

I couldn't respond.
If I have any preference at all, it's only becuase I've already settled on a boy name. But seriously, not a reason to 'want' a boy more than a girl. Just a live baby, please.
