Baby Names

Opinions please (clicky)

We have narrowed it down to 3 names.

Nathaniel Wayne - Our Grandfather's names put together.

Abel Weston - nothing special about this one

Hunter Lee - DH won't budge on this not being a possibility. Unfortunately our last name ends with -ter so I am afraid it will be too rhyming.

TIA for your input.

  • I like Nathaniel a lot.  But Wayne is a problem for me.  It's DH's late grandfather's name, so a contender for a middle name for us.  BUT, I swear every serial killer in Texas has the middle name of Wayne.  So it has a bad association.  DH is from CA and thinks I'm nuts...

  • not a fan of hunter lee. i don't like lee as a mn [just a personal preference, it seems to be very popular] and i would worry about hunter becoming more of a girl name in the future.

i prefer either of the others but give the edge to abel.

  • I voted for Abel because I LOVE the nickname Abe for a boy ! I would prefer Abraham instead of Abel, Abraham is much more my style. Such an old classic name. I vote for Abe =)))
  • I like Nathanial....Although I do LOVE Hunter, it probably would sound a bit weird if your last name ends with -ter.  Maybe if you had 2 middle names you could use it as a first middle name or something.

LOL! I had the same thought. I read an article online somewhere about that, so it's tainted me on that name..

..but, I think of the 3, I'd go with Nathaniel Wayne. The significance of both names being for the grandfathers is really sweet. :)
