Definitely depressing RE: shopping

So, DH and I went to Old Navy and Target to pick a present for his nephew. I decided to pick up just a tunic or dress to wear for his nephew's birthday party since it'll be the first time in a month or so that we've seen his family.

 

Well, that didn't turn out the way I wanted to. My thighs are too big and my stomach is too flabby still. haha Nothing fit right so it was more frustrating than anything.

Should have definitely stayed home in my yoga pants and called it a day.

Ugh I know. I can't fit my thighs into my size 16s but the waist on 18s is gaping. I feel like a disfigured heifer.

I had just the opposite problem. My pre-preggers pants all fit loose in the thighs & tight in the waist!

***, I don't even want to think about trying on pants. Thank god it's in the 70's here lately so I can wear skirts and dresses.

I go back to work in 2 weeks, and will have to find all new work pants. This is going to be impossible since im 5 feet tall, and used to wear kids pants before. Now that im officially a woman with these hips of mine, im totally screwed in the pants department.

I looooove my yoga pants.  I'm gonna be bummed as hell when I have to go back to work and wear "normal" clothes.

It's definitely a demoralizing experience, isn't it? I'm bigger all over, plus my boobs have their own ZIP code these days. I am dreading shopping for work clothes when I go back in a month.

Don't worry, you are only 4 weeks PP. I am 2 months PP and still can't fit anything that I have. Depressing. I don't know what I am going to do in one month when I return to work. I am especially worried about the tummy I am 115 right now but my tummy is still jelly and I was super tiny pre preg... I always end up just buying cute outfits for LO haha

I'm SO with you. I had to buy an outfit today because I have court for my car accident settlement...It was arduous and depressing, nothing fit right, I look lumpy and squishy.

No joke. I went from a size 8 to a 14. I'm slowly getting into 12's but for now I'm wearing plus size pant. yay
