ok sooo idk if ive lost my mind but the head of ds's penis has kinda changed colors like a darker tint...he is 7 wks old & has been circumsized...ive been pulling the skin back like the doc said but i didnt know if thats normal...

The head of my sons penis has gotten darker, and the skin im pulling back is fading into a pinkish color rather than the original red after the circumcision. From what I remember with my younger brother thats normal. And my mom has changed his diaper a few times and never mentioned that the coloring was off.

My DS changed at that age too. I called my Doctor and told him and he said as long as its not red or has puss its fine. I would go with my gut it never hurts to call if it gives you peace of mind. Hope I helped a little.

You know, during our bath today I noticed it was pretty red and I even cleaned like a string of white from right underneath the tip (it was when I pulled the skin back). He was crying a little too - I don't think it was puss but rather maybe fuzz-like from the diaper/wipes. Not sure. Was definitely odd. And he's the same age as your LO. I'll check again next diaper change to see how it's holding up. Wonder if I can put a little A&D on it??

Maybe an adhesion? DS went to his 2 month check up on Wednseday and I always noticed this white thing sticking out and when I tried to wipe it, it wouldn't go away. No one ever told me to pull the skin back, so he said it was an adhesion and pulled the skin back and DS screamed bloody murder. But he had a few of those one stringy things...my pedi said it was skin from the adhesions.
