So my little lady is only 1 month old and already fighting sleep!!! She will look at us almost close her eyes and then spread her arms out and pop those pretty blues open! Look at us and I'm pretty sure she is telling us no no mom it's not time to sleep.

Why don't you swaddle her?  That will keep her arms from flailing and help her sleep.

I was going to suggest this too.  DD's arms will often wake her up if we try to put her down without swaddling.
