Dropping the first syllable/sound in words

Matt used to say words fully like milk but now he says "ilk" or "inny" instead of Finny.

Some words he never said the first sound like he says "raff" for giraffe.

Cause for concern?

It sounds like he's just getting a bit overconfident with his diction, or experimenting.  I'm no expert, though!

 Nope. I think its probably a phase.

My daughter does this too.  It hasn't concerned me yet... I think she's just not concentrating as much on saying the words now that they're not new.  Hoping the consonants come back soon!
