I like it when DH travels for work because my mom stays with us.  My mom helps out more than DH does.  DH helps but I have to ask him to do certain things but with my mom she knows exactly what needs to be done.  If I'm taking care of Thomas she'll either clean, make bottles, or start dinner; and if she's watching T I'll do the same. 

When DH returns from his travel I'm sad to see my mom leave :(

I'm so blessed to have her.

    Yeah, I am jealous too.. thankgoodness my husband is helpful since my mom has no clue ; )

    This!  We have no grandparents near us and even if they were they wouldn't be of any help!

    Lucky lady! It is a mom thing! Mine lives across the country, she sounds like yours, knows what needs to be done, and does it "right". DH still hasn't figured out how to work the washer and dryer (T had to show him). At least he's an awesome cook...too bad when he's done it looks like a bomb went off in the kitchen. Doo you think that we can send these guys to housekeeping boot camp??

    You are so lucky!  My mom is great that way as well, but she's too far away.  I wish she could give Rom lessons!

    Got to love mom's help!  Especially when she knows exactly what to do (and how to do it like you) without asking.
