I'm sure it's just one random night- he's a little young to be STTN, but last night he slept from about 8:30 to 4:30. It was so nice. Of course, I woke up super engorged and had to pump after feeding him, but it was still nice.
I was going to write this exact post today! Isn't it exciting?! She's been doing 6-7 hour stretches, but never an 8. The only reason she woke up when she did was because I moved her blanket.
My LO started sttn the night pretty regularly at about 6 weeks, and now is doing it consistantly (last night was from 10-8). So it is possible for it not to be a random occurance! Good Luck
That's great! Are you guys swaddling? Do your LO's sleep in their cribs? Do your LO's eat right before going to sleep? How are there naps during the day? Lastly, do you guys have a nightly routine?
Sorry so many question. I'm really curious. That is a long stretch for your LO's. We're not near that long!! Congrats!!
I have always swaddled, and LO sleeps in a bassinet beside the bed. I usually nurse her right before I put her down so that she is sleepy and that seems to do the trick! She usually goes back down for 2-3 hours after I feed her in the morning, but then doesn't really nap again during the morning. She usually has 3ish hour nap mid afternoon than another 3-4 in the evening.
We bath every other night, so on those nights we try to do the bath around 8, then I nurse and she is ready for bed. On the other nights, I get her changed, put her in clean pj's, nurse then swaddle and snuggle with her on the rocking chair for awhile until she is sleepy and put her down. Some nights it doesn't work as well, and DH usually snuggles with her in bed to get her settled and then puts her down.
We have been very lucky that she has always been a good sleeper....I just hope it continues!

My LO has slept 6-9 hours stretches for the past week or so. We use the Miracle Blanket (she breaks out of a regular swaddle and the Halo SwaddleSack). We don't really have set nap times or a nap routine, but she usually naps about 2 hours in the morning, a short 1 hour nap around noon, and then 2-3 hour nap in the evening. We start putting her down around 9pm - diaper change, wrap in Miracle Blanket, 4.5 oz bottle, put down in crib with paci. We usually have to go back in 2-3 times and give her back the paci, but lately she's been sucking her hand instead. Once she falls asleep she's out until anywhere between 3 and 6am. As much as I love her sleeping late, if she wakes anytime after 6 it's a total nightmare to get her back down - her room is sooo sunny and we can't do anything about it because we live in an apartment.

She takes two 30-45 min naps in the morning, a long 2-3hr nap around noon, and finally a 30 min nap in the evening. I swaddle her in her crib for the long nap, but keep her in my arms for the short ones (if I put her down, she wakes up-she's a very light sleeper). She usually BFs about an hour before she goes down for the night. We don't have a nightly routine, other than swaddling her and listening to a song (we also listen to the same song before day time naps-it is often the one thing that will settle her down).
Re: Wahoo, DS slept through the night!
