need a new craft project

I finished little one's quilt this afternoon and have been searching online for a new craft project.

I saw lanterns like these.... https://diycrafts.blogspot.com/2011/01/cupcake-liner-lantern.html in a magazine. The one I saw was done with violet liners and lit with a basic lamp cord kit. I was thinking this would be a cool fixture over the changing table and not too bright so it could be left on at night.

I guess my worry is that the paper would get icky over time. Any thoughts ladies?

Adorable! I think CVL (or maybe someone else) posted a link for something similar made with old t-shirts. That may be easier to clean, but not sure how it would work as a lamp.

It's very cute, but my first thought was if you leave it on for a long time, will it catch fire? When my brother and I were little he put a t-shirt over his lamp and it caught fire, so I'm slightly paranoid about those things..
