1 1/2 weeks since Glucose Test & no results. Should I call?

How long did it take you to receive your Glucose results? It has been a week and a half and I havent heard anything yet. Do we receive it in the mail if it is negative and they only call if it is positive?

    My Dr. told me that I would be recieving a call if there was something wrong. If I didn't then everything was fine. Maybe this goes for your Dr. too.

    I took my test yesterday and they said if I dont' hear by Friday then I am fine. They only call if there is a problem.  They just called to tell me to take iron pills/glucose was fine thought.  I would guess you are fine.

    I was told I wouldn't hear anything unless I had failed it.  And I didn't hear anything!  Yay!  My OB confirmed I passed at today's appointment.

    oh man, you guys just made my day! I hope you are right! My nurse told me she thought I was going to fail because I ate frosted shredded wheat, even though I asked in advance if I needed to change my diet that day. Annoying!

    my doctor said that if the test was good and i passed i would not hear from them maybe that is the case. but if you are unsure just call tomorrow morning and i am sure they already have your results.

    My office is the same way, and it drives me nuts. I usually don't hear anything if test results are fine. It has been ten days so I'm hoping I passed.

    It depends on the lab. I think mine takes 2 weeks to get the results back on the 1 hour test.

    I got my results the next day but I got a call because it showed I was anemic.

    I would call! I work in a doctors office.  We always tell ppl "no news is good news".  But, it happens all too often that we never did get patients lab results.  It won't hurt to make the call :)

    Thanks for the suggestion, I called and I passed with flying colors!!! It was 88...whoop whoop!!!
