I'm going to a gym (for the first time EVER!) and I'm eating healthy and I am seeing a difference, but I know I'm not exercising very effectively. I'm going to have a personal trainer appointment soon and I wanted to see if you ladies had any advice.
My concern is doing so much exercise that it makes it difficult/impossible to carry my 10 month old (due to fatigued muscles...and fatigue in general!)
I'm in pretty bad shape now, so it seems like it will suck for a while before it gets better. How do you balance the need to carry your baby around a lot/bend over/crawl on the floor/juggle diaper bag/etc with trying to get in shape?
Re: How do you balance?
First off - great job on going to the gym and eating healthy.
As for your concern, I guess I've never been so fatigued (physically/mentally) that I worried about carrying LO. I know you say you are a beginner but I really don't think you'll have an issue with this. You will most likely be sore but that's not going to stop you from going about your day being a mom.
Moms are superwomen. You can do it!
