Avent Pacifier Users

My son favors the Avent brand pacifiers (the ones that can be put in any way - there is no up or down) and I have always liked them too since he can correctly put them in by himself without my help, especially in the car.  He also goes to bed with these pacifiers in his mouth every night and nap.  Today at a doctors appointment he put the ENTIRE pacifier into his mouth and closed his mouth around it.  My husband was holding him facing away from himself so he had no idea and thankfully I saw it and our doctor pulled it out!  I called Avent and put in a complaint and she said they will send it off to be reviewed.  I also buy the 6-18 month pacifiers so I would have thought this would have been hard for an 8 month old to do.  Just wanted to warn anyone who uses them.

i have definitely seen dd get close to whole the in her mouth.  she favors these too.

We love Avents (well, Alex does).  But I never let him sleep with it....

Just an FYI - Target has a mega pack on clearance right.... $7.48 fo 6 pacifiers!

Thanks for letting us know about him getting it in his mouth!  DS uses these too!  We're hoping to phase the paci out when he turns one.
