I have been drying my diapers in the dryer while I wait for DH to put up my clothes line. While I was pulling my diapers out of the washing machine I noticed that 3 or 4 of my cotton inserts from my thirsties duo diapers came out with small orange spots all over them. There was nothing in my washing machine to cause these spots. Has this happened to anyone else? How do I get these spots out of my inserts? I'm afraid if I put them in the dryer now they will set into the fabric. thanks for any help you can offer.

If it matters, I have been using the diapers for about 2.5 weeks and have been washing them almost everyday as I build my diaper stash.

Something like that happened to a friend once, her problem was rust in the holes of the inside of the washer.  It was like way back in the holes and hard to see.

i could see that happening but I don't think that's what it is. The orange isn't the right color of rust and the little spots are to much the same to be from something like rust.
