How to prep Kawaii Diapers

I need to prep Kawaii heavy duty pocket diapers but the washing/prepping instructions online weren't very specific.  How many washes would you do?  the website says to soak in cold water for half an hour and then wash on hot. For prepping do you also dry them in your dryer between washes?  may I wash Microfleece inserts with the cover?  what detergent did you use on your Kawaii?  thanks.

I checked with some seller (ugh, now I can't remember...SBish maybe?) who uses bamboo and she said it doesn't have the natural oils that hemp and cotton do, so they don't NEED to be washed more than once. However, they'll reach max absorbency after 5-6 washes. 

that's why you would want to prep them with multiple washes first if you want them to be good and absorbant right away, otherwise you could wear/use anything after just one wash with the understanding that they'll get more absorbant as time goes on.
