  • I'm not sure what the right answer is. However, the first paci we gave Ellie was a novelty sports one. I didn't realize until a month later that it was huge compared to the infant ones she should be using. It's the size of the 6 month ones. I tried downsizing to the infant size and she just sits there with her mouth open around it like "Where is it?"

Exactly what my son does. he will only take the 6mo pacifiers.

  • The pacifiers I have say they are for 0-6 months.  Maybe there really isn't that much difference in pacifier size at that age?
  • We use the Mam ones and I compared his infant one the other day to the new ones I bought for 2-6 mo.  The only difference is the outside part on those (the part against their cheeks.)  The nipple part is exactly the same.  I'm sure it's fine, for that brand at least.
