I don't really like either of the MN choices with Finn, but unfortunately I don't have any suggestions either. I guess though I like Finn David better though because saying Finn Benjamin is a mouthful to me - I want to stop at Ben and just say Finn Ben, which wouldn't be good!

I generally like one syllable middle names (DD1 "Brooke" and DD2 "faye") unfortunately dad doesn't have a one syllable names and we don't want to use his name as a first name. thanks for the perspective
my vote is for Finn David, which i think sounds really nice. my tongue gets a little tripped up on the fINN benjamINN, which makes me want to emphasize the last syllable of benjamin rather than the first.
