How many embies did you have to start?
I had 9 total. I have 7 that are growing strong and 2 that are probably duds and I think we may be able to do a 5DT. I'm not sure if we'll transfer 1 or 2 blasts, but being OOP, I'd love to have frozen embies in case this doesn't work (though I'm trying to stay VERY positive!).
Re: ? for those with frozen embies
I had only 5 eggs retrieved, 4 fertilize and a 3 day transfer of two - 6 and 7 cell. I had two more remaining but they were only 5 cell at the time. SO I never imagined having anything to freeze. I was SHOCKED when I found out one made it all the way to freeze.
My mom says that will be the one who sticks because she is a fighter... but we will not do a frozen until another fresh cycle and hopefully more then just the one to thaw.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

IVF #1 - 9 fertilized, 2 transferred, 3 frozen
IVF #2 - 12 fertilized, 2 transferred, 1 frozen
IVF #3 - 8 fertilized, 2 transferred, 1 frozen
They were all 5-day transfers
IVF #1: 14 eggs, 10 mature, 8 fert, 2 transfer on day 3, 1 froze
IVF #2: 10 eggs, I think all were mature, 5 fert, 2 transfer on day 3, none made it to freeze
I think if you have 7 in the running now, that is a good place to be. I wish we would have gambled and gone for the 5 day with IVF #1, but we were worried that they would all fizzle out and we wouldn't have anything to transfer.
14 eggs, 11 mature. 7 fertilized.
We transferred two blasts and there were 4 to freeze. I was shocked that we were able to do a 5-day transfer because I figured some would crap out by day 3...guess you just never know!
