My Husband had a Ureterosigmoidostomy, anyone else?

Is anyone out there familiar with this? My husband was born with a birth defect and to "corrrect" it his bladder was removed and his ureters were reconnected from his kidneys to his colon.  As far as we can tell he has no "plumbing" that goes to his genitals.  Conception will require help, probably a testicular aspiration and then AI.  It's hard to get a straight answer because finding his medical records from when he was an infant (35 years ago) has been difficult. The fact that he doesn't have insurance doesn't help either.

I have my own issues- PCOS and a blood clotting disorder and I honestly don't know where to start.  I have seen my ob/gyn, I'm on prenatel vitamins, and we are going to try Clomid next month. However my husband hasn't even had a SA yet. I'm not sure if he could even provide a sample for analysis.

Any help, advice, referrals would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, and good luck to everyone.
