Does anyone else have one? 

My LO got his 1st cold a week after starting daycare.  The bulb wasn't getting a lot out and he hated it.  I did some searching online and found the NoseFrida.  The reviews were great so I ordered it.  I got it yesterday.  Wow, there was so much stuff in my kids nose.  No wonder he was fussy!!  The bulb doesn't get nearly as much as the NoseFrida does.  I use it with saline and he seems to feel so much better when I'm done.  I'm glad I made this purchase!

My friends baby is due in April.  I'm going to add one to her shower gift from me.  She is going to look at it and say "what is the world is this!!  yuck!!".  She will thank me after the first cold hits her LO.

I am afraid I'll have to break down and get one of these because every time I look at the pic on it I gag. I gag hardcore.

My husband can't do it, and my other two sons think it is so disgusting.  They don't even like the sound when I'm using it on my LO.  It's not bad at all!!  Give it a try.

Tell me about the filters.  How many does it come with?  How long do they last?  Did you buy extra ones right away?

I've had mine for almost two years and have never had to change the filter (I think it comes with three), anything I get out of baby's nose doesn't get nearly far up enough.

I just got mine yesterday.  It came with three additional filters.  I would agree that the stuff that comes out of the nose doesn't even get close to the filter.

Just be careful that you only suck for a second at most each time bc LOs can't breathe while you're using it.  May be obvious, but I was the dumb mom who didn;t figure that out and sucked for 20-30 seconds and DS started looking like he feared for his life.

Very good point to mention.  I actually did that myself.  I'm learning that a lot of short sucks will get a lot out rather than one long suck where he can't breath!
