my doc has not mentioned having this done at all. if it was not for this board, i would not even question it. as far as i know my urine, blood work and everything else has given no indication of any issues - but will i have this anyway. anyone else not have this mentioned by the doc?

Re: s/o glucose tests
My doc mentioned that I would be taking mine at the next appointment (28 weeks). Perhaps your doc will be giving you your test around that time too.

my appointment today was the first time my dr has mentioned it.
I'm doing it next month (at 27.5 weeks). He said I didn't need to do anything special, that I could eat breakfast like normal, he only mentioned it so I would know that I'm going to have to stay for an hour.
This. I asked my midwife if it was something everyone does or if I was just doing because of other results or because I'm over weight. She said it was standard procedure.
They'll probably mention it then. My doctor mentioned it for the first time at my appointment last week.
I had my 24 wk appointment yesterday and they gave me the drink to take home and drink 1 hour prior to my 28 week appointment.
