With this being my first time BFing, how do you know when to wean your LO? And how can you tell they are done with BFing altogether? With all the weaning talk from my other post, I got curious.
my older DD just stopped taking the boob right around a year. She'd look around, smile, laugh, but not eat. After about a week of this, I gave up. she tried it earlier (around 6 months, after I was gone for a week for a work trip) but that was just a nursing strike (6 months is too young to self-wean) so I just kept at it.
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."
