JCP Monterey Crib

Hi everyone. Does anyone have the Monterey Crib and changing table in the Cherry color and has pictures to share? We wanted the set in Chocolate mist, but had to order it in Cherry since the Chocolate Mist is now discontinued. We want to see how red the cherry is. Any pictures or links to blog posts with the furniture would be great. Thanks in advance!

We almost got the Monterey crib but ended up getting the Tori in espresso (just ordered it). I do love the Monterey though. Sorry, I'm really not much help but its a shame they don't have the Chocolate Mist!

On a slightly different topic, did you have to get the changing table shipped to the house? We were told that they didn't deliver that item to the store and their charging $180 to ship it, which I think is crazy!!

Yes, the whole set is being shipped to our house. I am not sure how much the extra delivery charge was because its a present from my ILs. I know it was a lot though!

I ordered the whole room set from JCP and I ordered the monterey crib.   They said it would be delivered about 2 weeks later, and even sent a postcard.  I called them the day that it was to be delivered and they said it was no longer in stock.  Even though you can still order it.  It does say its on back order.  They never called and told me this.  This was just a couple weeks ago.  You might want to call JCP to make sure it is still on its way.  

It really made me mad, but I ordered another crib from a different co.  but I hope it works out for you!

UGH! I know the tall dresser is back ordered and will be delivered in 4-6 weeks. The crib and changing table should be here in 4-5 business days (my MIL works for JCP). I am not too worried about the tall dresser being back order since the other 2 pieces are more important when the baby arrives.

we ordered the monterey crib bedroom set in early february... they said its on backorder until march 16. I got the chocolate mist color. I called and they said its still available, just on backorder. Have you tried calling them? I will be extremely upset if they cancel this order on the 16th... i searched forever for a crib like this!
