Bump on leg from shot?

There is a bump on her leg where her shot was given. Its under the skin. Is this ok?

If they move while they get the shot, it can leave a little tear in the muscle. It's normal and should go away in 2 days, max.

Its been 8 days since the shot. Is that bad?

Totally normal, and my pedi said it can last 7-10 days. You can put a warm washcloth on it if it seems to be bothering your LO.

DS got one with his 3m shots, it lasted about 4 days

Lilly got quite the welt with her 4 month shots. It probably lasted 3-4 days.

Is it getting better? If it hasn't and it's been 8 days, I'd call. If it's disappearing I probably wouldn't worry about it.

you can also massage it a llittle. i did this with DS when i changed his diaper just massage the little bump for a minute it helps it go away.
