Hello ladies!
How was everybody's week? Any scale or non-scale victories?
QOTW: Let's help each other shop and plan ahead. What is your favorite pre-packaged or single serving snack that you grab and go or is just the right size to satisfy a craving? (ex. an orange, 100 calorie pack, etc)
Re: Weekly Weigh In!
I am down 1.4 this week and reached 10 percent. (Thank God!) Unfortunately it took longer than I had hoped since I wasn't so good over the holidays and with the new program. But slow and steady wins the race, right?
My favorite grab and go snacks are bananas or the sugar snap peas that are pre-trimmed, pre-washed and pre-packaged at Kroger. They are the perfect zero pointsplus snack for me. At home I like the sugar-free Jello pudding for 2 pointsplus. The Dark Chocolate is pretty rich and feels decadent while satisfying a chocolate craving.
My grab and go snack is almonds... I have all different flavors.. Cocoa, sea salt.. I put them in baggies 1/4 cup so I don't over eat. They are the perfect snack and fill me up.I also love Luna protein bars.

I was down 0.6. I'm tired of the SSSLLLLLOOOOWWWW weight loss. I'd love to have a 1lb+ week again.
My favorite snacks - an apple, those caramel coconut fiber plus bars that Kristen had posted about before, or a fat free yogurt.
As far as non-scale victories, a lot of my pants are getting loose, but not quite loose enough to fit into an old size. I tried some on yesterday and while it certainly took a lot less effort to zip and button than before, they're still not something I can wear in public.
I'm down a pound, finally. I've been barely losing, if at all the past few weeks and it was getting frustrating. I started tracking my food again this week, so hopefully that will help. I ran almost 7 miles Saturday morning, which is the farthest I've ever ran. We're going to be doing between 7.5 and 8 miles this Saturday.
QOTW: I feel like I'm the queen of prepackaged foods, since I pack my lunch for work every day. I eat the Snyder's of Hanover 100 calorie pretzels a lot, the Jello pudding, and I really like Earthbound Farm's organic apple slices. I also keep 100 calorie bags of microwave popcorn here at work in case I'm starving. Sooo filling, but won't blow my calorie count.
Good luck everyone!
I am so proud of you. I get frustrated for you since the scale isn't moving much for you but I think you're running is just fantastic. You are doing such great things for your body and it WILL make difference weight AND health-wise which is the most important part. Run, Forest, Run!
My favorite snack is the prepackaged cheese in 1 oz. pieces, not the sticks. More like the Disney colby jack ones. I heart cheese and I can eat a whole block if I let myself. It is worth it to buy the small pieces prepackaged so I am good.
I have not weighed myself yet this week.
I haven't checked in in a while. I have been having the worst month ever. I got on the scale yesterday and somehow I've stayed within the same three pound area. I have no clue how I've managed that. Half the time I have to remind myself to eat. Then I end up cramming all my calories into a meal. And yes, I'm aware that isn't healthy.
I'm hoping things are under control by Monday and I can stay focused.
My favorite snacks are hummus or guacamole cups and chips or veggies. The hummus cups from Costco are pre-portioned and delicious!
Down 0.2 this week. But, AF showed today, so I think that has at least something to do with it. I worked out at the gym every day except Sunday & Wed (weigh in day).
QOTW: I am loving the cuties, they are just enough to satisfy me.
Can I join you ladies? I started counting calories last week and it is going well. I am down 1.5 pounds! I am so ready to get rid of this extra baby weight. I just want to lose 20 pounds (ok, I would love to lose 30 but we'll stick with a goal of 20 for now). Dieting is a new thing for me. I have always been blessed with great metabolism and have never had to worry about weight. Since I've had the boys I haven't gained anything but I wasn't losing anything either. Just reading labels has been a real eye opener and it is helping me make healthier decisions. I LOVE chocolate and haven't been able to give that up so I like it when I have 40-100 calories left at night because I eat a couple of dark chocolate hersey kisses and that does the trick.
I am up 2 pounds. I am not at all surprised. The minute I started feeling better, all I wanted to do it eat to make up for my loss of appetite during the past month. I have also been allowing myself more wine than usual because of job stress. My resolve is to trade in the wine glass and exercise off the stress from now on. That will help get the weight back off in a flash.
My favorite snacks are berries, bananas, Greek yogurt, and raw veggies. I do allow myself a piece of dark chocolate if I crave sweets. Natural popcorn without butter is also a staple here.
