So, oddly worded question, I know, but DH and I were just talking last night about how we can't see yet what DS is going to look like. I can't figure out what his face is going to look like as it changes from the baby-faced roundness, no eye definition, etc and morphs into a more mature look. When does this happen? I guess it probably varies a lot from child to child, but I was just curious. (and as always, I love to see pics of your kids if you happen to have "then and now" comparisons)
Re: When did your baby start to look like themselves?
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

K has looked the same since day 1. She was rounder in the beginning and now she's lost some of that baby fat, but she still looks exactly the same to me.
What I want to know is what she'll look like once she gets real hair. Like at least enough to frame her face. I'm so curious.
I don't like to post pics here, but we're FB friends so you can check out the photos there. I've got an album for each month of K's life.
I think Toodle already looked like "himself" around 3 months old, albeit a chubbier face. He has pretty distinctive features though. Here's a 3 month pic to compare to his current pic in my siggy.
At 19+ months, I think that LO is getting close to what he'll look like as a non-baby. Interestingly, while I do see a bit of DH in him, I don't know that he really strongly resembles either of us.
FWIW, here's a picture of LO at about 3 weeks:

Haha, that's his standard expression. We call it his "What the eff is wrong with you people" face.
