Those who have the mirena, did your supply tank when you got it added?? My dr. is giving me some medicine to make me have my period b/c he said it should be added when your on your period (which seems soooooooooooo gross). I just don't want my supply to tank & not have enough 4 conner to nurse. Im thinking of starting to pump more sooo that I have more in the freezer just in case..any suggestions?? I also posted this on the BF Board

i don't know about the supply issue, but i just got my mirena put in monday and have not had a PP period yet.  they mentioned it is best to do it at the tail end of your period because that is when your cervix is the most open so the insertion is easier, but all they have to do is check and see if they think they can do it or not. they had no problem putting mine in, i had some pretty heavy spotting for 2 days and so far so good....goodluck!
