I am curious about the same thing. Although, I am not sure I consider mine to be sagging...it just seems that the end that she ended on is bumped up on top rather then flat as the rest of my incision is.
I hope it goes away though because you will definitely be able to see it through my swimsuit....
Are you talking about the excess skin of your belly "hanging" over the scar? There are a lot of factors that go into this...
Your belly was just stretched out for 8+ months, so the excess skin isn't going to go away overnight. If you are a fit person to begin with, and have a regular exercise routine, this skin could tighten up within a few weeks. Look at celebrity moms who have personal trainers and all that - they get their pre-preg bodies back in the matter of a month or two. And lets be honest, some have tummy-tuck surgery. Look at Kate Gosselin, for example. (obviously the amount of excess skin she had was way more than an of us would have, but it's for arguments' sake) There is no way she could have "worked" that back to normal - a surgery was pretty much her only option.
If you're like any normal woman though, this "hanging" skin could take several months or even years to work back to normal... or it may never go away at all, sadly.
Suffice it to say, your body just went through a LOT of changes! I know we all want to pop out a kid and run back to our pre-pregnancy selves, but just like anything else, it all depends on how determined you are to get rid of it, and how hard you're willing to work for it. (and how much there is to begin with)
Then again, maybe you have a rich husband and a tummy tuck isn't out of the question.
I know what you mean... there's a little spot on the side on my incision where it just looks a little puffy on upper side of the incision, like it could have been sewn better or is just a little swollen except it's still there 2 months later. It has gotten a lot better over the 2 months, I'm hoping it keeps slowly going away like my excess belly skin!
DS is just over 2 months old, my belly has improved dramatically. It was quite 'saggy' and is definitly improving. I've still got a ways to go before I'll be totally happy with my belly--but I've been watching what i eat and excersizing (at least as much as I can)--which all pays off!!
My baby belly is gone but I still have a small bulge over my incision. It has continually gotten smaller over time and my doc said that it will go away.
Its come down dramatically since I was cleared to start working out. I've been getting back into it slowly. Its not back to normal (I had a very flat stomach pre-pregnancy) but getting better every day.
I give up trying to get a ticker. I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome. Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself. Hmmm. How about...

it took me almost 2 years to get rid of it the first time around. this time there isnt as much as the first time sagging over...so i am hoping it wont take as long to get rid of. i am almost 3 weeks PP & it has gone down A LOT since the hospital already on its own...kind of hope it continues to shrink!

My doctor said that it can take 6 months for some people and others even longer. For me its staurting to go away now its not as noticeable to me as it was and it'll be 10 weeks pp tomorrow.

mine never went away from my first c but in fairness, I didn't do anything to get rid of it bc I knew I was going to get pregnant again. My sister (2 sections) doesn't have hers anymore so it must be possible with a lot of hard work!
