ear infection?

Several times today when trying to bf Lo he would suck for a little while then start screaming and would no longer eat after that. When I finally get him calmed down and I attempt again at my breast he's screaming before I even get him down to it. Is this a sign of an ear infection? I had to give him two bottles today just so he would have something to eat. I'm afraid that he's just refusing my breast. What do you think?

Ear infections are usually accompanied by a fever and constant pain.  He wouldn't stop screaming and would be tugging at his ear/face.   However, you should call your pedi.  Any change in behavior, especially inconsolable screaming could indicate sickness or pain.  Take his temperature too.  Hope he feels better.
