After seeing this on the Nurseries and Baby Gear board I checked online and all the 2010 Revolutions are all affected.  I wasn't planning to get such an expensive jogger but a good friend urged me to put it on my registry saying that she really wanted to buy it for me.  I thought the clearance priced 2010's were a little much and no way am I putting a 2011 model on there.   

I'm hoping they will become available again after they attach a warning or remove all the drawstrings, but unfortunately that could take months- assuming that's the solution they're taking.

What a bummer!!!  It is hard enough to finally make a decision and to have it recalled.... ugh! 

Do you know what stroller you will go with instead?

I saw this today. Reminds me of the summer infant monitor recall. Sucks that some not-so-smart parents can ruin it for everyone. Hopefully they'll rerelease them quickly!

My mom just bought this for us from REI yesterday after it was no longer available on Amazon.  I hope they will still let her pick it up, she was set for in store pick up.  Seems like an easy fix to remove the drawstring.

I bought a BOB Revolution (2010 model) at REI in late December on sale...  and the serial number does not match any (or in the range) of the serial numbers listed on the https://www.bobcanopy.com/

Mine also doesn't have a draw string.

You might be ok if it was made after March 2010. I would double check or find another place to register for one that is safe.  But either way, they offer a replacement kit so, if you really want it!

This sounds promising!  The problem is the item numbers tend to be the same so companies put a block on the item number and can't sell even the good ones until the problem is resolved company wide (every store and warehouse is visited, the product inspected, and in this case the drawstring removed).  No store around here sells them in person, but I'm gonna look at the sporting goods stores in PA when I'm there and if I find 1 I'll probably just buy it myself b/c I really want it!
