We're still in survival mode, obviously, so we keep Caroline with us until we go to bed. She does 2-3 hour stretches until morning.
when did you start putting LO down earlier?
when did LO start doing the longer stretch (3-4 hour)?
"Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you've got about a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies. God damn it, you've got to be kind."

We tried putting her down at 8p last night and it was more stressful then just keeping her with us. I figure around 2 months we'll try again. I think that's when we started with Andrew as well.
Hope she starts sleeping longer for you soon. Some nights Grace will do 5 hours, but most nights it's about 3.
I think around 6-8 wks we started slowly moving his bedtime earlier. We didn't start an early bedtime with DD until 2mos, but DS's naps are so horrid he really needed to go to bed early. Now he's in bed around 7:30. It was around 4-5wks when he started sleeping longer stretches (4-5hrs). Now he's down at 7:30, up to eat around 1-2, up to eat around 4-5, then up for the day around 8:30. He had been only waking once around 3-4, but for some reason he's back to waking twice.
See my siggy links for sleep help, specifically the first sleep help link.
DS was in the NICU for 1 week, but when he came home he right away went from about midnight to 8 am with only 1 wake up, so he was doing 3-4 hrs straight at 1 week old.
We have found (since DS was about 5-6 weeks old) that if he has a bottle at 8 or 8:30 pm, he'll sleep till 6 am. If he has a later or earlier bottle (as "bedtime bottle") he'll wake at 3 or 4 am.
