dark bumps inside lips on vagina (sorry if TMI)

Okay ladies three weeks ago I was having abnormal itching on the inside of my right lip (vaginal) I finally broke down and itched myself and discovered that I had two dark spots resembling moles but kinda puffy like skin tags, but they didn't have any other sensation.  Now I was having itching again but on the left inside lip and pain.  Upon palpation I discovered another bump, this one bigger and this one is painfully sensitive to pressure or touch.  Dr. went on vacation and won't be back til week after next...any ideas as to what these are or if anyone else has experienced this???  TIA!

They are varicose veins.  I thought they were ingrown hairs and tried a hot compress and picking at one.  This just angered it.  My doctor told me yesterday that it is a varicose vein (I have four of them down there).  Lovely (but I'd rather have them there than somewhere visible).  

Anyway, mine is still sore.

I think you posted on 3rd tri also, I wouldn't be too concerned like a couple ladies said over there, but I would keep an eye on them.

Is there an on call doctor or someone else you can speak to in case of emergency while your Dr is away?

I just noticed that I have dark swollen bumps, too. I also have a lot of vaginal pain (something similar to what I've sometimes experienced after sex, pre-pregnancy). I'm going to see my midwife next week and am planning on asking her about them, but good to know other people have experienced the bumps too.
