introducing (reintroducing?) myself

Hi ladies!  My name is Allison and I'm a fellow NC Mom.  I used to frequent the NC Knot and Nest boards back in the day - came here a few times but because of my work schedule was always around late in the evening and since it was dead I rarely did anything but lurk.

Anyhow, I'm transitioning into being a SAHM now so I'm hoping to be more active here and get to know some other local ladies.  I don't have a whole lot of Mom friends and am feeling a bit nervous about the transition.

My DS - Parker - is 20 months and I had my DD - Lauren - last week.  We live in the Triangle - near Chapel Hill and float around the Chapel Hill and Southpoint area most often.  I'll probably bug you all with lots of activity questions because I'm hoping to keep busy during the days with the kids.  DS is very active and coming out of DC will be a big adjustment!

Welcome! We have a great SAHM's group for the Triangle area. Once we meet you at a public GTG and confirm you are not some crazy stalker, you can join. I have a 23 month old daughter and am 5 weeks away from having my second.  There are some great ladies in the group/area.  Congrats on your new addition!

Welcome back!  Good luck on you and DS adjusting to your new schedule.   Congrats on sweet Lauren.  There are a lot of creative ladies on the board.  I'm sure they will have great ideas to help you stay busy.
