Kessler's post reminded me of when my nephews were young and I was babysitting them. Ryan must have been about 6 and Aaron around 3 at the time. Aaron is a really laid-back, happy-go-lucky kid and he was humming and singing, keeping himself occupied. Ryan was being driven nuts by the humming and the singing, and kept telling his brother to shut up. "Shut up, Aaron! Shut up! You're bothering me!"
I told him it wasn't nice to tell his brother to shut up, that wasn't a nice thing to say. So the next thing I hear is this:
Aaron: :::humming::: (by this time I'm sure it was to drive his bro crazy)
Ryan: Knock, knock
Aaron: Who's there?
Ryan: Please
Aaron: Please who?
Ryan: PLEASE SHUT UP!
I busted a gut, it was just too funny.
