Prepping CD for 1st use?

We bought our first two BG AIO, and I want to see if they fit DD. How do I prep them before her first use? Is there a certain number of times to wash them, etc?

    Congrats on your first cloth diapers!!! I love BG's. You can check out the FAQ at the top of this board which has lots of information on prepping your diapers. The ladies on this board put together lots of helpful information in that section. Good Luck!

    Oh thank you! Also, this may be a dumb question, but do the inserts just sit in the diaper right next to baby's skin? Is the "pocket" in the 4.0's just to provide access to the elastic or do the inserts go in there?

    The inserts go in the pockets. The BG 4.0's come with microfiber which can not be put against baby's skin. The AIO 3.0's come with inserts sewn in as well as a pocket. The pocket in the 3.0's is for extra stuffing such as at nighttime or during long naps.
