DS has a cold at the moment and is scheduled for his 4-month checkup and shots on Friday. Think they'll still do them if he's got cough/congestion? (no fever).
I would call his Ped and check. My mother is a Peds nurse and she told me that shots should be postponed if DS has any sign of being sick. Some of the vaccines contain live organisms and could make a child sick if their immune system is already compromised from illness.
My dd had a stuffy/runny nose at her 2 month appt. and her shots were delayed 2 weeks till she was better. I doubt your dr. will do them and if they suggest going ahead and you are not comfortable with that then tell them so!
