And what's even considered a "perfect" blood pressure? At my 2nd appointment it was 110/70-something. I remember the 110 part. The nurse told me that was a little low, which surprised me. Today it was 94/66, and the nurse said it was "great!". I used to think 120/80 was ideal, but maybe not? The OB has had no issues with my BP, so I am not worried, just confused about what is "normal" for a pregnant woman. Just curious about everyone else!

mine was 120/80...or so she claimed. funny that i have been taking manual blood pressures for years and the quickness with which the nurse did it in NO WAY could have been accurate.
94/66 seems low to me, but it's not abnormal.
Mine was 121/80
Last time I went to the doctor I had just had a huge fight with my sister and I was super stressed and still mad and my BP was 160/90!! Thank goodness my doctor didn't panic and she just asked me to settle down and it got more normal and fell to 125/58 which my doctor then said was OK but I have to watch it. Getting upset really makes my BP go high!
Usually my BP is anywhere from 110/60-125/80. Once early on when I was still very worried about miscarriage and something going wrong with pregnancy and I would get anxious before going to the doctors visit, my BP was 138/80. They made me do a 24 hour urine analysis to see if I had protein in my urine. And I have to do this again tomorrow because of my crazy BP on Monday at my doctors appointment. Trust me, if they say your BP is fine then it is. Otherwise they would make you do a 24 hour urine analysis (like me) or send you for monitoring at L&D which they did when I was pregnant with DS and had a high reading when I was 28 weeks. I had to stay for monitoring for 6 hours to make sure my BP was fine. Turned out they had taken my BP with a small cuff and my arms were getting fat and they needed a bigger cuff. Taking BP can be very tricky and there is a lot of room for error.
Mine has been high my last two appointments. They make me lay down in an examining room and re-test it after fifteen minutes or so and it always regulates itself.
[I'm considered high risk because I ended up with HELLP syndrome my last pregnancy. They would order blood work if my BP didn't regulate on its own after a rest.]
120 / 80 is absolutely NORMAL!
you should only really start to worry if it starts to creep up around 130 / 90 ....
my blood pressure has always been very low - my last appointmnet it was 80 / 55 - Dr is obviously not worried about high blood pressure for me - but low BP can lead to fainting etc - so they have to keep an eye on that. It might be unsafe as well if i need to have an emergency C-section if my BP is too low - but hey there's really nothing you can do for low BP than drink plenty of fluids!!!
don't stress if your BP is 120/80 it's fine - trust me!
Same here. Mine is always 145/100 or even 151/110 when I first arrive, just the excitement of the appointment and the frustration from the traffic on the drive over that causes it to be so high initially. It always goes back down to 118/80 - 121/80 when they retake it at the end of my appointment.

My BP has always been in the low 90s over 60s but I'm a very small person which can be normal. It read 102/66 last appointment and the nurse said "definitely better than the last time." I've had issues with hypotension prepregnancy but with the increase blood volume it's been better.
