We have the Eureka Enviro steam mop and love it. Read all of the reviews on amazon first though. The first time you use it, it literally spits all of the water all over the place. After that it's a dream.
ETA: We use it on all of our hard surface floors - wood, laminate, tile...

I have it and just got it out of the box on the weekend to clean my microsuede couch, lol. It was was looking rough, had little stains all over the place from dripped popsicles, formula, kid marks basically. It did not clean the spots at all like I thought it would. I had to spot clean with soapy water and a scrub brush but now that it is clean I will use the shark to steam sanitize the couch on a reg basis. I did notice that it took the dog smell out and the fabric looked fresh. I can't wait to blast the grout in my bathroom, and steam some of my wrinkled shirts.

First I had a Shark (original model, not pocket) and it died after about 10 months. Then I got this (after a ton of research), and it died after like 2 months (and the pads shrunk, after I *carefully* followed the washing instructions, and never fit right again). Despite all this, I still loved steam cleaning, so I got a Haan. I like my Haan best of all 3, but even it still has its pitfalls. I would rate the Shark the lowest of the 3 I've had - the steam it puts out is not hot enough to truly disinfect/sanitize, whereas the Eureka and Haan are, and I hated that you had to pump it to make the steam come out. It was quite the workout. ;-)

I have this already and love it for my hardwood. I'm looking for something to cleanmy couch carpet and other things that the floor mop won't.

I have the Shark Nagivator vaccuum and love it. I think if we buy a steamer, it will be a shark. I love the brand.
Sorry, I know that isn't exactly what you wanted.
