size small same as a OS size??

Ok - So this is probably a bit confusing but...

I'm loving the BG xs on my DD. (She's 13 days old.) I'm noticing that when she goes to daycare at 7 weeks, the XSs will likely not fit. So... I thought about doing the cotton babies sale and getting some size smalls, but I also have a bunch of OS elementals from my son. If the OS diapers can be adjusted down to the size of a small then I won't be needing to buy the size smalls. If the smalls are smaller than the smallest OS setting, then I'll buy some of those.

Does that make sense?

So does anyone know? Are the smalls smaller than the smallest setting of the OS diapers?

 

(and how many times can I type some version of the word "small" in one post?)
