Are you thinking of buying one from babysteals today? I just ordered one. Yes, I've heard the lighter the color, the more effective it's supposed to be.

DH, DS, & I all have the lighter pumpkin/butter ones. DH was in a car accident 3-4 years ago and recently had surgery #2 to remove a rib so he's been in alot of pain. He says that when he wears his he can go with less pain meds (he'd been taking pretty strong stuff every 4-6 hours for more than a year). So going on that I think they work.
DS wears his 24/7 and we've maybe given him tylenol twice.
When DD is getting ready for a tooth to break through she seems to sleep better if I have the necklace on her all day. I am too paranoid for her to wear it at night or unsupervised though.
DS has been teething badly this week. With nothing, he screams on and off and doesn't seem to know what to do with himself, is clingy and sad. With the necklace and a dose of gripe water he is almost 100% himself. i love that we don't have to give him tylenol during the day. He doesn't wear the necklace at night and seems to be more restless laying in his crib, so we have given him tylenol at night but he's only needed it twice.

I'm the only one I know that had this happen, but DD had a skin reaction to the amber. We had to stop wearing ours.
Aww...that's too bad. :-( Did she get a rash?
Yes. I thought at first it was just a drool rash, so I wasn't concerned. Then I happened to take her necklace off and forgot to put it back on for a couple of days. The rash disappeared. When I put it back on the rash appeared again.
