Just started doing this 2 days ago... she does great during the day but gets fussy from 6pm to 8pm.. nursing helps as does a bath, but not completely. The plus side is when she goes to bed after that, she sleeps 5-6 hours. Tell me, is this normal for 3 wks? This isn't colic, is it? Please say no! Will she just outgrow it?
Re: fussy time from 6pm to 8pm... normal?
Yes - it is normal that babies will have a fussy period and this is usually in the evening. My DD was like this - and still is some days.
It will get better with time.
I wouldn't worry about colic until the fussy time gets longer and longer. From what I hear - with colic babies are crying and inconsolable for hours at a time.

This could be it! Grow baby!
A lot of babies have a fussy period each day. For some it is their way of winding down from the days stimulants. I would say that 2 hours each day is not colic.
Yes, it's normal. My little guy does this sometimes - not every night though. The only thing that helps him stop is to rock him & shush him.
By the way - you have no idea how lucky you are that your LO is sleeping 5-6 hours straight! Since I brought my LO home I'm lucky if I get a good 3 hour stretch.
