I have been BF my daughter exclusively, but yesterday started pumping every 2 hours to give her that instead... it just seems to be working for us. I have been pumping 2 oz every 2 hours, and that is WITH hand expression, massage, etc... I have the PISA. I am also taking fenugreek and blessed thistle. I drink water liek crazy, and know I eat enough calories. Is this a normal amt, or am I struggling to meet demand?
Re: Just started pumping question
Are you pumping because you are away from her? Babies empty the breast much better than the pump does. We have this problem all the time when I have to pump. I can feel there's milk in there after pumping. I don't know how old your baby is, but that amount sounds totally normal. I use this site a lot:

I am about to be away from her a couple days a week, so getting her used to a bottle. However, I actually empty my breasts better than when she feeds. She is such a snacker, that I get more out of it than she does.
