I found out I was pregnant (first pregnancy) late December and had a miscarriage 2 weeks later, I hadn't had a period in 3 months before that but none of my pregnancy tests came up positive until the last one in late December and I couldn't get an appointment with my doc before I miscarried so I have no idea how far along I was. They don't think I was more than six weeks or so but I'm not sure. Anyway while I've always carried a little extra weight its always been really even all over, in fact my stomach has always been the first thing to lose inches and has remained flat when compared to the rest of my body, but not since I got pregnant. ?My first sign that I was pregnant was that I was bloated and didn't fit into my jeans 2 weeks later because of it. I'm almost 2 months out of my miscarriage now and I can't even suck in my stomach to be flat. And its round, like a perfectly round preggo belly which is serving as quite a painful reminder. I didn't need a D&C or anything so I don't really know why my belly is hanging out like this so long after. Has anyone else had this problem and how do I make it go away?? I mean we want to TTC again soon but I don't want to have a pregnant belly for a year or anything! Any advice is appreciated!

I have been struggling with weight loss (and round tummy). I have been exercising for the last 4 weeks (4 times a week) and eating OK but haven't seen any changes. Yesterday was actually the first time the I have seen a change on the scale.
I don't know if its emotional or hormonal thing (or both)? I think our body is just taking time to adjust.

My belly was bloated for a few weeks and after initial weight loss due to loss of appetite, the weight came back with a vengeance. I'm working at getting it off now and have been somewhat successful with diet (clean eating). I'm getting back into exercise as well and I feel really out of shape. I think the thing you need to keep in mind is that it takes time to lose weight healthily so just keep at it.
I'm sorry for your loss, I hope you are finding comfort here and with your family.
