Got my first woven today!!!

DH is a bit worried I'll go overboard, since I keep drooling over various colorways and brands and sending him links, but...he agreed it'd be useful to have, so over the weekend we bought a Vatanai Orkney and it arrived today!!!

So now our stash(which probably won't be getting any bigger for a while) consists of two ring slings(the light green one I posted before(with the shoulder redone, now I have a better idea of what I'm doing), plus a brick-red linen/rayon one), the Wrapsody Aphrodite I got from someone here(someflower, I think?), my new Vat, and an osnaburg DIY for DH, mottled several shades of denim-y blue.  Whee...can't wait for LO to get here, so we can use them with a real* baby!

 

 

*In addition to our smaller cat helping to test the first RS(more than once), the larger allowed DH to practice FWCC on him yesterday, in the osnaburg.  It didn't work quite textbook-style, since the cat in question far prefers being held horizontally rather than vertically.  I found a stuffed animal to practice my wraps with
